This research examines knowledge sharing behavior within the online educator community Tapped In (TI) through the lens of the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) and the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TpB). Conducting a web-survey among 158 TI members, the study extends these theories by exploring five variables: attitude, subjective norms, descriptive norms, controllability, and knowledge sharing self-efficacy (KSSE). Findings indicate that normative pressures (subjective and descriptive norms) and knowledge sharing self-efficacy significantly influence individuals' intentions to share knowledge, while attitude and controllability do not have a notable impact. This insight contributes to understanding the psychological factors that facilitate or hinder knowledge sharing in professional online communities.
