This paper addresses the challenge of predicting the health and trajectory of online communities by analyzing the relationship between community evolution and member behavior patterns. Utilizing statistical analysis, a semantic model, and behavioral representation rules, the study examines various forum communities on Boards.ie. It categorizes member behaviors over time and investigates how these behaviors correlate with either positive or negative growth, providing insights into the dynamics that contribute to the flourishing or decline of online communities.
