This paper presents an efficient and simple approach to reconstruct the reply structure in threaded online conversations, which are typically represented as threads in Internet forums. Understanding these conversation trees is crucial for analyzing user behavior, but the reply structures are often not publicly accessible or maintained. The proposed algorithm's accuracy is compared against three baseline algorithms, demonstrating that it can accurately recreate the in and out degree distributions of forum reply graphs based on the reconstructed reply structures.
