This study surveys users of suicide bereavement Internet forums and Facebook groups to understand their help-seeking behaviors, usage patterns, and perceptions of these platforms. Despite most participants seeking face-to-face help, they view forums as highly beneficial with few limitations. The study highlights the potential of online forums as a valuable supplement to traditional support systems for those bereaved by suicide. However, the generalizability of these findings may be limited, and subjective views of forum users might differ from those of moderators or experts.
