The article explores how internet drug forums serve as platforms for the production and sharing of information about legal highs. Unlike drug wikis, which have been studied before, these forums are examined as sources where drug information is generated through social interactions and personal experiences. This community-driven approach to knowledge production reflects a form of citizen science, albeit without formal scientific oversight. The article argues that drug use on these forums evolves into a social ritual where sharing information is seen as an ethical practice, and the need for firsthand experience in drug experimentation imposes a moral dimension on the creation of new drug information.
