This study investigates factors influencing teachers' participation in online learning communities in Malaysia, focusing on English, science, and mathematics teachers across five secondary schools. Utilizing blogs for exchanging teaching experiences and stories, the research identified cultural issues, time constraints, administrative enforcement, and the inherent need for such communities as key influencers on teachers' engagement levels. Data were gathered through one-on-one interviews and analyzed thematically.
