This study explores public participation in Sustainable Development Planning (SDP) for city development through online forums. A regional government engaged 196 participants in discussions on major SDP issues for the period up to 2030 using electronic discussion papers and questions. Analysis of 690 forum postings revealed key concerns, including integrated transport networks, high-density land use, and sustainable population growth. The research highlights the role of green information and technology systems in facilitating SDP participation and consultation.
