This paper presents preliminary findings on detecting cultural differences through the experiences of tourists and locals in various countries. It introduces a new probabilistic model, ccLDA, which extends existing Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and cross-collection mixture (ccMix) models to analyze data from blogs and forums. The study includes both qualitative and quantitative analyses of the model's effectiveness in interpreting cross-cultural data.
