This study investigates selective disclosure dynamics among users of the social news site Reddit. Through 24 interviews and analysis of popular threads and IRC logs, the research reveals that Reddit users intentionally compartmentalize discussions about content on the platform from their offline social lives, highlighting the complexities of self-presentation in digital environments.
