This study examines online forums dedicated to depression as platforms for reconstructing the self amidst the challenges of negative mood and intrusive thoughts. It explores the thematic focus and discursive logic of narratives shared on these forums, identifying patterns related to themes such as dysfunctional body and intimacy challenges. The research analyzes how individuals ground their experiences of depression within these narratives, providing insights into the ways online discourse aids in the interactive reconstruction of the self.
