This paper introduces a motivational community visualization designed to enhance user participation and contributions in peer-to-peer (p2p) online communities, grounded in social comparison theory. It outlines the development of both static and dynamic versions of the visualization, detailing the advantages and disadvantages of the static version and the rationale behind the development of the dynamic version. An in-depth evaluation of the dynamic version is also provided.
