This study delves into perceptions of clinical services among users of three self-harm online communities, analyzing 513 messages from 60 threads to understand the factors affecting help-seeking behavior. Through thematic analysis, four main themes emerged: access to appropriate services, service preference, fears surrounding disclosure, and the role of support. These insights highlight the potential of online communities in providing anonymous support and facilitating open discussions about self-harm and the challenges in seeking professional help.
