Packaging

Inspired by Jay Clouse:

"Packaging is the presentation of your product".

Packaging is the community design, the icons, the typography, and graphics. Packaging is the theme, the aesthetics, the newsletter and emails.  Packaging entices people to 'buy' our communities with their attention.

Metaphorical packaging of an online community

  • How have you made your community's packaging more enticing for engagement?
  • Psychological aspects like curiosity and interest are piqued by effective packaging. How have you seen this play out in your interactions?
  • Decision sciences explore how individuals make choices. How does the presentation of discussions affect your decision to engage or contribute?
  • Are there any exemplary 'packages' within our community that made you want to 'buy-in' with your attention? What made them stand out?
