JoelR Posted October 19, 2023 Share Posted October 19, 2023 Auto Follow Content I have very mixed feelings towards it. As an admin, I love it for forcing users to follow forums. As a user, I hate it because I think you remove my autonomy and agency in voluntarily following relevant areas. JoeyM Posted October 20, 2023 Author Share Posted October 20, 2023 It's quite a task to encourage people to follow things, even a team chat I have - only five members follow it including myself. I think productively it can be helpful, but I do see the annoyance too. I honestly think it's more effective here than not, I get so many notifications I wouldn't normally and whilst it can be overbearing it does force me to take action over what I am getting sent as notifications.
