Growth Check: Is Our Online Community Blooming or Staying Cozy?

As we reflect on the journey of our online community, it's essential to consider our growth trajectory. Has our digital family expanded, welcoming new voices and perspectives, or have we maintained a snug, familiar size? Each scenario carries its own charm and challenges.

  • Have you noticed an increase in new members and fresh conversations in our community this year, or has it remained more or less the same?
  • If there's been growth, how has it affected the dynamics and discussions? Has it brought a richer diversity of ideas, or perhaps some growing pains?
  • For those in communities that have maintained their size, what benefits have you observed from this consistency? Does it foster a stronger sense of connection and familiarity among members?

Whether our community is expanding like a bustling city or cozying up like a close-knit village, understanding and embracing its growth pattern is key to fostering a vibrant and engaging environment. So, let’s share our observations and insights. After all, it's our collective experiences that weave the fabric of this digital neighborhood! 🌐🌱👥

Based on my personal experience, I can say it is very difficult to get organic activities on your forum. You can get people to join your communities but you cannot make them remain active unless you are promising them something (cash incentives, for instance).  Some people are resorting to post exchange or buying posting services for their communities but sadly their communities are still not growing.
