JoelR
You're a community manager. Your time is limited. Would you rather try to juggle multiple initiatives (for example, different ways to generate member engagement) versus only focusing on one initiative and doing a really good job with that one initiative? (This is sometimes how we all feel when running a community and trying to do everything all at once!)
Nomad
After running over a dozen blogs for many years, I have started merging blogs to create one big blog. I am also running multiple communities and I have decided to focus on one community instead of juggling multiple communities. I am looking for someone who can take ownership of the communities that I am no longer interested in running.
Agnew
I only run one forum on animal husbandry / caretaking of wild animals. I've been to sites where I see people run 3 or 4 different forums in their signatures, which is crazy to me.
Shortie
Over my time of owning communities, I have learned that it is much better to have one community that you focus on as opposed to several different ones that you need to focus on. I don't mind working on other sites or communities and forums to help with the running of the place but owning more than one can be a little too much.
