Peacock Theme Update 1.4

Hello Invisioneers 🙂

Recently new version of Peacock Theme has been released. this is a big update with new features and optimization. number of new features was actually inspired by Invision V5.

Clickable panels for forums

Clickable panels is a new cool feature that users can see in Invision v5. this feature now implemented in Peacock theme for IPS v4 as well. clickable panels in peacock comes with usage of selected color from it's color palette as well. added to this, if any forum have a featured color, there are option for it to be used as color of clickable panel as well.

Another new feature can be seen in the video is also about forum' featured color, which is now there is option for using featured color for a forum, to be used as main color in theming of it's Topic Listing pages as well. it gives more unique theming for each topic listing pages individually now.

 

New Sidebar Design

Peacock theme in v1.4.0 have a complete redesign for the sidebar area. this section, is now using the design language of Invision v5 with some minor new addition of it's own. just like IPS v5, parent menu links now have sticky effect and it will remain at top for the scroll and it's child items. all features for peacock including color picks from color palette is also implemented here. added to this, menu item is opening with scroll animation, so new opened menu could be open at a bit top of it's original position for better UX.

 

Mobile Menu Enhancements

Peacock Theme, from the first release introduced a very advanced Mobile menu, with many features and customization options. it's own unique areas for navigation menu, create menu and search. working with these buttons and area now get a QoL update and better UX. there will be no interference when buttons are clicked, navigation menu now look more clean and in design, more like mobile menu from Invision v5.
