Online discussion forums are valuable for information exchange but often suffer from information overload. Moderation systems help manage this, but they can be insufficient due to sparsity issues. This paper presents a novel method for learning from past moderations to create an automated moderation classifier, addressing the sparsity problem. It also explores the potential of training a moderating classifier on a moderated forum and applying it to an unmoderated forum.
