This study explores the role of social media in fostering a people-centered approach to heritage, focusing on how online communities interpret and display heritage to contribute to the collective and local identity. Using digital ethnography, the research investigates the social production of everyday heritage landscapes and the community's role in shaping heritage values. A case study involving three Facebook community groups from Tripoli, Lebanon, was conducted using NVivo 12 plus for data analysis, revealing that community members prioritize environmental equality, common interests, and representativeness over the beautification of heritage sites. This study highlights the importance of understanding how local communities assign values to their heritage, offering insights into the digital co-construction of everyday heritage.
