Traditional requirements documents are giving way to more accessible user feedback from online forums and social media, which is often fragmented and multi-perspective. This paper proposes a Crowd-based Requirements Engineering approach by Argumentation (CrowdRE-Arg) that analyzes forum conversations to identify arguments for and against requirements-related topics, creating an argumentation model to uncover conflicting viewpoints and reason about the strongest arguments for informed decision-making. The approach is demonstrated with Reddit discussions about a new Google-Map feature, utilizing natural language processing and machine learning for automation.
