It acknowledges the impracticality of relying solely on employed administrators for content approval due to scalability issues and introduces the concept of delegating moderation tasks to community members based on user reputation. The paper introduces CoSiMo (Community Simulation and Modeling), a framework designed to predict the impact of different policies on online community dynamics and content quality. By simulating various quality assurance mechanisms, CoSiMo aims to help optimize real online communities by balancing self-management and administration effectively.
