This project focuses on fostering interest among high school girls in Germany toward STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields through the creation of an online community and e-mentoring program. By connecting these young women with female role models already established in STEM vocations, the initiative aims to inspire and encourage the students to explore and potentially pursue STEM careers. The online platform facilitates interaction and exchange among community members, creating a supportive environment for the participants. Quantitative methods were employed to assess the levels of social presence and group identity within the community, investigating the correlation between these factors. Additionally, the study explores the impact of group identity on the girls' interest in STEM subjects and their willingness to engage further in STEM-related activities or studies.
