This study investigates the factors influencing the growth and survival of online communities on Reddit, focusing on various social network features. Findings reveal that factors such as clique ratio, density, clustering coefficient, reciprocity, and centralization significantly impact community survival but have weak effects on growth. Experiments predict future community growth and survival based on these features, indicating their usefulness in predicting survival but not growth.
