This research examines the factors influencing aggression intention among Chinese users in online communities, focusing on the role of internal deterrents like face saving and moral beliefs, alongside the effects of community policy and peer pressure. The study reveals that effective community management and peer dynamics can mitigate aggressive behaviors, with notable differences observed between younger and older users. This investigation offers both theoretical contributions to Web 2.0 research and practical implications for managing virtual communities to foster a more positive and less aggressive online environment.
