This study explores the relevance of cybersecurity and the analysis of hacker communities to identify emerging threats. It develops an automated methodology that combines machine learning with information retrieval techniques to extract tangible evidence of potential threats from hacker forums, IRC channels, and carding shops. The findings illustrate how analyzing hacker community content can enhance cyber threat detection, paving the way for future research in this area.
