It examines how technological innovations have enabled businesses to creatively address social issues, particularly through mobile communication and online communities. The paper reviews the nascent literature on social entrepreneurship and e-entrepreneurship, providing suggestions for practitioners shaping social e-enterprises and recommendations for future research.
