This study explores IUD self-removal experiences shared on internet health and parenting forums. It uses qualitative analysis to examine posts regarding self-removal methods, user experiences, and advice exchanged among IUD users. The analysis revealed that successful self-removal is often described as quick and painless, while difficulties mainly involve finding or grasping the strings. Users frequently sought advice and shared techniques, raising questions about methods, pain management, medical intervention, and future fertility.
