This study analyzes interaction patterns within Chinese internet literature (CIL) fan communities using social network analysis to understand how fans communicate and participate. It explores the impact of the socio-technical system of CIL platforms on network topology, highlighting the influence of these platforms' technological and commercial structures on fan engagement and literary production.
