This article introduces a framework for recommending relevant information in Internet forums and blogs by incorporating user comments. It emphasizes the importance of considering structural, semantic, and authority information within user comments. A key observation is that the semantic content of comments can have varying impacts across different types of social media, which should be carefully considered when designing recommendation systems.
